This is the only place where they sell thennan kuruthu(or thennai kuruthu). Other items include the variety of boiled sprouts with masala.



3) Vella Kozhukattai, Karupatti Kozhakattai: You can find this snack item at Ther Mutti, Madurai. Price: Rs.20 for 3 pieces Approx. It is also a great snack variety which has zero oil content. Other items at this place include sprouts, poorna kozhukattai. Also, nearby there is a Masala Paal stall which is delicious too and usually sold out within the few hours only.

4 ) Muttai Norukkal, Mutta Samosa, Thattu vadai: All these snack items are available at Rasipuram Bus Stop, Salem District.Price: Rs 15-20 Approx./Per Plate. This place is maintained by the father and the son duo. Different types of Kozhs are being sold during day time and the evenings are laced with the variety of snack items. They sell an array of snacks including Thakkali norukkal, Muttai norukkal, Samosa norukkal, Mutta Samosa, Mutta perattal, Thattu vadai with muttai set and many more. This is the only place in the locality so you can always find it crowded.

7) Cheeni Javvu Muttai: You can find these at Valayalkara Theru, East Maasi Street, Madurai. Price Approx Rs.10. This stall is quite popular and the Cheeni Javvu Muttai is the most selling item of the stall. The stall serves Cheeni Javvu Muttai in the shape of your favorite accessory like a car, bicycle, flower etc.

8) Paruthi Paal: You can spot this at Vilakku thoon, Madurai. Price: Rs 20. This is again a healthy and energetic drink which is highly recommended by the natives of the place during the summer season.

9) Mullu Murungai Vadai: This snack item can be found at Thallu vandis around 4 Maasi Veedhi, Madurai. It is a different Vadai made with a combination of fresh Keerai. Mullu Murungai Vadai is served with a spoonful of Paruppu podi over it. Price Approx Rs.10 for 3 pieces. The other food items from the stall’s menu are Owl Urundai, Sprouts, Kappa Kezhangu and Fresh Juicy Pineapple Slices with masala.

10) Butter Bun: We can get this at Pechi Amman Paal Pannai Kadai, Kochadai, Madurai.  Price: Approx. Rs 15 for a piece of butter bun. The butter used to slather on the buns is freshly made in the farms nearby. Butter Bun is very similar to the Mumbai Pav but the former has much more butter than the Mumbai Pav. The stall takes pride in serving other milk-based dishes like filter coffee, masala milk and paalkova to name few.
