Requirements
If you aspire to become one of the electrical contractors, you must have a high school diploma. It would be better if you have a degree in anything that is connected to construction management and engineering. You should become an apprentice for a program in an electrical work, and have an on-the-job training. Apprenticeship usually takes 4 years. Licensing requirements differs from every state, though all states require you to have a license before you can accept work. You must be knowledgeable in soft wares that are related to electrical works. Preferably, you must know how to use computer aided design (CAD).
