To celebrate the release of Peggy Porschen's stunning new book 'Love Layer Cakes', the Peggy Porschen Academy has created a series of new baking masterclasses based on recipes and designs taken from the book.



Spend a delicious and inspiring day at the Academy and learn how to create two beautiful and delectable cakes from Love Layer Cakes, perfect for Summer. Peggy’s Rose & Pistachio Cake is layered with a heavenly light and smooth rose meringue buttercream which perfectly complements the slightly denser and moist pistachio sponge. It is finished with a pretty stencil pattern. The zesty and summery Lemon, Raspberry & Rose Cake is layered with a fruity raspberry buttercream infused with rose essence and topped with crystallised rose fragments.

Students will enjoy a couple of days at the Academy and learn how to create three of the most scrumptious cakes ever! Peggy’s delicious Red Velvet Cake, the dark chocolaty Devil’s Food Cake, and the moreish Blueberry & Buttermilk Cake, all layered with heavenly cream cheese buttercream frosting and finished with clever side-scraped designs and stencilling.

Learn how to create two of Peggy's most popular cake creations. Our delectable Salted Caramel Cake with layers of chocolate, caramel and vanilla sponge filled with salted caramel, glazed with chocolate ganache and finished with marbled caramel. And the daintily beautiful French Violet Cake, a light vanilla chiffon cake layered with violet meringue buttercream and decorated with piped buttercream rosettes and a beautiful stencil design.
