Hayes-UK was one of the first iPages. We think of this website with great sentimentality, and despite changes of ownership over the years, iPages has kept the website. Last week we were able to give Hayes-UK its first redesign in many years and are pleased to have created a fresh looking modern website that will have increased functionality by becoming an e-commerce website.
The website looked dated and tired, although it functioned perfectly well and gave excellent information to the hundreds of visitors that use it each day. We were asked to recreate a look that matched the Hayes-UK brochure. We used the strong black and orange theme to increase the branding throughout the site, and simply gave the website a make over.
It is interesting how website design has changed over the years. Back at the turn of the century having a functional website with a simple CMS was unusual, and that is where iPages picked up its first customers. Our focus still remains somewhat with smaller to medium sized businesses who want to compete online against their much larger rivals, but we have made our forte e-commerce websites our forte because it is difficult for smaller companies to find an e-commerce solution that is financially viable and brings together stock control, accounts management, e-mail campaigns and automatic fulfillment.
We will shortly be launching our new iPages software which has numerous additional features that will enhance the functionality of our e-commerce solution.
