PCI, a rapidly growing integrated marketing agency located in Old Town Alexandria, has added multiple staff members to fill strategic positions. The additions position PCI, a Capitol Communicator sponsor, to offer end-to-end digital capabilities to its corporate, nonprofit, and government clients.

Mark Pedersen, Director of Marketing Strategy

Mark has more than 12 years of agency experience in B2B and B2C marketing and is an expert in developing and implementing fully integrated, cross-channel marketing communications for internal and external audiences. He specializes in content and message development, creative concepting, website planning and architecture (UX/UI), brand strategy and identity. Before joining PCI, Mark was a director at Goris Communications, where clients praised him for his attention to detail and stellar service. Mark graduated from George Mason University, with a BA in Communications and PR.

Pamela Long, Senior Account Executive

Pam has more than two decades of experience in integrated marketing, visual communications and strategic account management, Pamela is a versatile, creative leader who drives results. Before PCI, Pamela’s extensive client portfolio spanned the government, enterprise and nonprofit sectors and included the U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM), U.S. Department of the Interior-Acquisition Services Directorate (AQD), DoD-Military Health System (MHS), Deloitte, ExxonMobil, USSS, the SkillSource Group, U.S. House of Representatives, VA Office of Economic Opportunity, SAIC, White Oak Technologies, Insight, Fairfax County Government and more.

Heidi Phelps, Content Manager

Heidi is motivated by a deep love of art and language. A writer, artist and former French teacher with a Master of Arts in French literature, Heidi began her career in the arts and culture department of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where she promoted French musicians, artists and authors in the U.S. and wrote speeches and editorials for the French Cultural Attaché. From there, Heidi moved on to a government relations and communications position at the Association of American Publishers and then into the world of EdTech, where she worked as an Education Client Manager at Rosetta Stone. For PCI, she will channel her energy into our blog, web and social media content.
