A keynote panel will open the Mid-Atlantic Marketing Summit Baltimore on September 29. Three senior marketers from McCormick & Co, the Baltimore Ravens and Medifast will give a “big picture” view of the current marketing landscape with topics on social, mobile, analytics, content marketing and more. What marketing tactics are working at present for their brands? What are they most excited about for 2017? What trends will shape these brands’ marketing plans in the coming years?

This panel will be followed by a keynote from Lauren Bates, head of marketing from Urban Stems. Founded in 2014 in Washington D.C., Urban Stems, an on-demand floral delivery startup offering a curated selection of fresh, seasonal bouquets, has become one of the fastest-growing companies in the Mid-Atlantic. Since UrbanStems’s early days, Lauren has been charged with building, growing and scaling the startup’s marketing efforts and team.

The afternoon keynote will be by T.J. Smith from the Baltimore Police Department. T.J. will discuss the communications challenges surrounding last year’s civil unrest surrounding the Freddie Gray case and its aftermath. Social media and live-streaming through Periscope, where they are able to give the entire story, is making a big difference in how they earn and keep the public’s trust, according to T.J. Hear about some of the communications tactics that are working. This is highly recommended for crisis communications professionals.

Early Bird pricing ends September 21, so secure your ticket today. The summit has expanded to the IMET Columbus Conference Center this year. Over 300 marketing and communications professionals are expected to attend. Registration and more at http://mamsummit.com.
