Vintages Release Recommendations

By Vintages standards, this small mid-summer release offers many wines priced between $ 15.00 – 20.00, the popular price tier presently.

This release features northwest North America’s wines i.e Oregon, Washington States, and British Columbia in Canada. Many are perfectly suitable to pair with food and enjoy on their own. All are prices attractively, but meant to be consumes within a year or two.

Fortified wine

B. Rodriguez La Cave Barbiana Manzanilla Sherry, Delgado Zuleta, Jerez de la Frontera, Spain

From Jerez de la Frontera’s most close to the Mediterranean Sea, this “salty” dry intense cherry offers subtle “saline” flavours. It has a long aftertaste, and relatively low alcohol (15 per cent ABV). Suitable for seafood appetizers, and deep fried calamari.

Brilliant red. The estate was purchase by Joseph Drouhin, a world-famous burgundy shipper, and now managed by his daughter who also acts as the winemaker, has been producing rich, elegant burgundian-style pinot noirs. Raspberry and cherry aromas dominate the nose, underlined by herbal notes. In the mouth, the wine shows finesse by caressing the tongue and finishes with an elegant and long impression.
