Arvig Finalizes Purchase Agreement with Security Plus Alarms, LLC; Offers Business Services to Bemidji Area
PERHAM, MINN. AUGUST 1, 2013—Arvig announced today that it has reached an agreement to acquire Security Plus Alarms, LLC of Bemidji, MN. The purchase introduces a new market to the telecommunications provider, who will now also offer local and long-distance telephone services and high-speed Internet to businesses in the Bemidji area.

Security Plus Alarms provides a comprehensive range of security systems including burglar and fire alarms, closed-circuit televisions, card-access control systems and 24-hour full monitoring. The company will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of Arvig and the current staff will remain in place.
