The Glasgow Claims Investigation Team is recruiting for the role of Claims Fraud Investigator. The Glasgow CIT form just part of the award-winning Claims Investigation Unit – a 50+ strong force comprising of desktop & field investigators, intelligence analysts, major loss specialists and experts in cutting edge counter-fraud technology. We are looking for someone with a passion for preventing fraud & financial crime and who is driven to achieve the best possible outcomes.
The Claims Investigation Unit plays a vital role in protecting Zurich and its customers from fraud, successfully achieving savings upwards of £60m per year. It is recognised as being amongst the best in class within the UK industry and beyond. **What will you be doing?**
The successful applicant will:
+ Handle a portfolio of suspected fraudulent motor claims up to a value of £150,000. Your portfolio will stretch across the English/Welsh, Scottish and Northern Ireland jurisdictions.
+ Successfully defend Zurich and our customers from fraud risks and financial crime, driving the right cases to civil or criminal trial where applicable.
+ Work across all referral sources to maximise retained investigations with a focus on technical excellence, data capture and quality handling.
+ Work with industry-level peers through information sharing via the Insurance Fraud Bureau and other organisations.
+ Contribute to our strategy targeting key fraud enablers across all geographical areas. You will work with the City of London’s Insurance Fraud Enforcement Department and other law enforcement agencies to maximise Zurich’s deterrent message.
+ Work across Zurich’s functions including, Claims, Underwriting, Operations Sales and Marketing to promote Zurich’s counter fraud offering.

To be successful in this role you will have an advanced knowledge of claims and claims investigation. You will be able to work discreetly using your knowledge whilst working with a high customer focus.
