In this section of the guide to the Easy Social Share Buttons plugin, we will look at the Mobile Display Options.
Step 1) Login to the WordPress Dashboard.
Step 2) On the left-hand sidebar of the Dashboard, click Easy Social Share Buttons to display the Main Settings tab.
Step 3) Click the Display Settings tab.
Step 4) Scroll down until you see the Mobile area and click to select.
Mobile Display Options
Step 5) Complete the fields as outlined below:
A.
Change default display method for mobile
From the dropdown list, select a Default Display Method for mobile devices.
The available options are:
No
Content Bottom
Content Top
Content Top and Bottom
Float from Content Top
Top or Bottom Sidebar
For this example, Content Bottom was selected.
B.
Mobile sidebar position
From the dropdown list, select a sidebar position (if selected above).
For this example, this field was not changed.
C.
Hide buttons for low resolution mobile devices
Place a checkmark in this checkbox to hide buttons for low resolution mobile devices.
For this example, this field was left unchecked.
D.
Hide buttons for all mobile devices
Place a checkmark in this checkbox to hide buttons for all mobile devices.
For this example, this field was left unchecked.
E.
Deactivate additional display methods on mobile
Place a checkmark in this checkbox to disable/deactivate additional display methods on mobile devices. We recommend this option be activated.
For this example, this field was checked.
F.
Deactivate native social buttons on mobile
Place a checkmark in this checkbox to disable/deactivate native social buttons on mobile devices. We recommend this option be activated.
For this example, this field was checked.
G.
Do not apply mobile settings for tablets
Place a checkmark in this checkbox to avoid mobile rule settings for older tablet devices. We recommend this option be activated.
For this example, this field was checked.
H.
Send to mail button function on mobile
From the dropdown list, select a mail button function for mobile devices only.
The available options are:
Use Default Function
Send Mail Using Popup Form
Send Mail Using mailto link and User Mail Client
For this example, the default value of Use Default Function was not changed.
Step 6) Click the Update Settings button to save any changes.
Advanced Display Settings For Mobile Devices
Step 7) Complete the fields as outlined below:

Activate custom button settings
Place a checkmark in this checkbox to activate this option.
If you do not activate this option, the settings shown below will not be applied.
For this example, this field was checked.
J.
Display only those buttons for this button position
Place checkmarks to the left of each Social Network you want to display.
For this example, Facebook and Twitter were selected.
K.
Template
From the dropdown list, select the appropriate Button Template.
Since our button template was selected earlier and we do not want to change the button template, Default Template from Settings was selected.
L.
Full width share buttons
From the dropdown list, select the appropriate value.
The available options are:
Default Value from Settings
Yes
No
Since Full Width was not selected earlier, Default Value from Settings was selected.
M.
Full width share buttons width correction
If Full Width was selected and you need to enter an adjustment/correction, enter that value in this textbox.
For this example, this field was left blank.
N.
Hide Network Names
From the dropdown list, select the appropriate option.
The available options are:

No
For this example, Default Value from Settings was selected.
O.
Counters Position
From the dropdown list, select the appropriate Counter Position.
Since our Counter Position was selected earlier, Default Value from Settings was selected.

Total Counter Position
From the dropdown list, select the appropriate Total Counter Position.
The available options are:

Left Big Number
Right Big Number
Before Social Share Buttons
After Social Share Buttons
Hidden
For this example, Default Value from Settings was selected.
Q.
Rename displayed texts for network names
To the left of each Social Network, by entering different text, you can over-ride the default text.
For this example, no changes were made.
Step 8) Click the Update Settings button to save any changes.

Prior to moving forward, we recommend that you view your site to see the changes applied above and make any modifications as needed.
