I just red on reddit that there will mayor issues with malt quality in 2022. The harvest was poor and what got harvested is of poor quality, expect price to go up and and qaulity to go down.
We are talking poor extract, poor size, stuck mash etc. They started adding 2021 crop into their batches start of october and ramping up month to month. We can expect to be affected soon.
Might be a good idea to stock up on base malt now before the new malt hits our shores.
Let me know if you start seeing anything, I will be buying an extra sack of pale and pilsen when I get back from holiday.
