About
Dr Manveen (Manny) Mangat:

Manny is a highly regarded fertility specialist with extensive gynaecological and surgical experience, specialising in advanced laparoscopic surgery. She has an affable personality and offers complete care for her patients from investigations to treatment options – individualised to consider each patient’s/couple’s unique circumstance.

Her practice encompasses treating women throughout their reproductive lives and individual journeys from preconception, gynaecologic and fertility issues, fertility preservation, as well as hormone replacement for premature ovarian insufficiency and menopause. Her other major areas of interest are in andrology and male factor infertility including microsurgical **bleep** retrieval.

After graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from Monash University in Melbourne, Manny went on to specialise in O&G training in Brisbane, Singapore and UK. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG), as well as one of the few accredited subspecialists in Australia with the prestigious CREI qualification (Certification in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility). This involved 3 further years of subspecialist training in key areas including reproductive endocrinology, assisted conception and gynaecology, andrology, advanced laparoscopic surgery, as well as hormone replacement for oncology patients, premature ovarian insufficiency and menopause at centres of excellence including IVFAustralia, Royal North Shore, Westmead and Concord Hospitals.

Manny has recently graduated with a high distinction average from the Master of Medicine (Reproductive Health and Human Genetics) at The University of Sydney. Her past research interests included evaluation of microsurgical correction of varicoceles and **bleep** quality (including DNA fragmentation), to improve spontaneous conception as well as conception with IVF. Manny’s current research includes assessing Inhibin B levels and the success of **bleep** retrieval at microdissection for non-obstructive azoospermia. She has presented her work at national meetings and regularly lectures to GPs, medical students and the general public.

Manny provides gynaecological surgical treatment at North Shore Specialist Day Hospital, North Shore Private and Westmead Private. She consults at IVF Australia’s City, Burwood and Northshore clinics.
