It was great fun seeing some of my songwriter friends again & meeting new ones at the Bobby’s Idle Hour

On Wednesday last week during the CMA FanFest, I performed at the famous Bobby’s Idle Hour Tavern. Its a very well known bar on Music Row where all the stars and music executives hang out and relax and hope to discover new songs and acts. It’s even referred to as a quintessential neighborhood bar, serving as the “official” home for several of the music industry’s die-hard veterans, hit songwriters, recording studio guns, and emerging talent. Cold beer, cool Country and an eclectic mix of music and friends and there I was, thinking Girls Just Wanna Drink Beer (lol)
It was great fun to see some of my songwriter friends again and to meet some new ones while at Bobby’s Idle Hour. My good friend Lauren Michetti was there performing some great new songs as well during her performance. Lauren is really a great writer and performer.
When it was my turn to step up to the stage, there was no way I would be able to finish without my #1 AirplayExpress charted single, “Girls Just Wanna Drink Beer” but then why would I not play it for the fans after all, Girls Just Wanna Drink Beer @ Bobby’s Idle Hour in Nashville, Tennessee too.

If only we could relive parts of our lives I would certainly want to relive my time at the CMA MusicFest’s fan fair week, it was so exciting.
