Patriots running back Sony Michel started the summer on PUP following foot surgery this offseason, but returned to the field a week ago.
Part of the delay to getting back on the field could have been due to some weight put on following the surgery.
"He got heavy after the surgery and he had to get back down," Patriots running backs coach Ivan Fears said to reporters via video conference Wednesday. "So yes, he's worked on it. He worked on it hard and got back to where he needed to be."
