ADENAN SATEM IS TERRIFIED OF HANNAH YEOH

Adenan Satem has confirmed his immense fear of Hannah Yeoh by barring the Speaker of the Selangor State Legislative Assembly from entering Sarawak for a non-political event.

Only Adenan knows what qualities this petite and soft-spoken 37-year old possess which strikes terror in his feeble heart and and sends bags of ice racing down his weak and brittle spine.

In less than 45 minutes after Hannah’s arrival in Sibu, she was escorted by THREE uniformed officers back to a plane. Something you may expect in Pyongyang, but not Sibu. Until now.

Sarawakians, do you really want a gutless Umno proxy as your chief minister? An over-the-hill figurehead bereft of testicular courage who doesn’t think twice about abusing his power each time he breaks into a cold sweat?

Make no mistake, Sarawak BN is afraid. Very, very afraid.

Friends from Sarawak, please don’t allow your caretaker government to abuse immigration law like that.

BANNED FROM SARAWAK

I arrived at Sibu Airport on 22 April 2016 around 10:55am for a christian event to be held tonight in a local church. At the immigration counter, I was told that my name is listed amongst those who have been banned from entering Sarawak. I travelled with 2 of my assistants, Sharon and Joyce, both were not allowed to be with me.

I was escorted into a room and the officer refused to read my invitation letter from the hosting church or my Speaker namecard. When asked why I was banned, the officer could only reply “I’m sorry Puan, ini atas arahan pihak berkuasa negeri Sarawak”. 2 officers from MAS then entered the room and demanded for cash of RM1013.35 for my return flight to KLIA (no credit card allowed).

In less than 45 minutes after arrival, I was escorted by 3 uniformed officers back to the plane. I felt humiliated by such treatment, giving the false impression that I’m a dangerous person, harmful to the state of Sarawak.

I have 2 questions for Adenan Satem:-

(1) Federal Constitution guarantees my right to practise my religion freely – why was I not allowed to attend a church event with my fellow believers in Sibu? Pastors were waiting to pick me up from the airport.

(2) On what grounds did Adenan Satem use to ban me from entering Sarawak? Why wasn’t anyone able to explain this at the immigration office? I was not given any paper/slips explaining the deportation.

Immigration laws were enacted to protect the people of Sarawak. I organised fundraising dinners in Selangor to build basic infrastructures for the poor in Sarawak. How can that be a threat? Am I a threat to the people of Sarawak or am I a threat to the unrighteous authorities in Sarawak? I would like an explanation from the Barisan Nasional caretaker government for the above, failing which an apology would be appropriate.

YB Sim Tze Tzin has been Sarawak‘s best contributing friend from Peninsula Malaysia all these years! WHY he is being barred from entering Sarawak??? He was the very rare YB from West Malaysia often visited Sarawak‘s remote area and rendered his care and assistant through his expertise as a trianed engineer , he is though a West Malaysian, he is not lesser than any Sarawak for Sarawakians indeed and in fact!

YB Lee Khai Loon & me banned from entering Kuching Sarawak today. We arrived 11.30am and scheduled to fly back in next available flight.

I asked the officer, Since 2015, I have traveled to Sarawak 11 times. 3 weeks ago I was allowed to enter. I did nothing wrong, why ban me today? She replied with a faint smile: This is the instructions from State Government.

悄悄的我走了, 正如我悄悄的来,我挥一挥衣袖,不带走一片云彩。–这是我现在的心情,哈哈。

KUALA LUMPUR: Opposition MP for Shah Alam Khalid Samad today joined the growing list of Opposition lawmakers banned from entering Sarawak ahead of the state’s May 7 election.

The Parti Amanah Negara (Amanah) communications director found himself barred at the gate of the Kuching International Airport this evening at 7.55pm.

No reason has been given for his entry ban so far.

Khalid wasn’t the only politician barred from the state today, as DAP lawmaker Ngeh Koo Ham posted on Twitter today that he was denied entry upon arriving at Kuching International Airport around 9am.

“At Kuching immigration. Called aside & separated fr Penang CM & YB Chow. They were allowed in but I am denied entry,” his tweet posted on his account @ngehkooham read.

The Beruas parliamentarian was on the same flight as Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng and Penang executive council member Chow Kon Yeow, but the Perak lawmaker was the only one denied entry.

Ngeh also posted a picture of the ban notice which claimed he was banned entry under Section 65 (1) (A) of the Immigration Act 1959/63.

Opposition politicians barred from entering Sarawak include DAP’s Anthony Loke, Teresa Kok, Tony Pua, Teo Nie Ching, PKR’s Nurul Izzah Anwar, Chua Tian Chang, Shamsul Iskandar, Zuraida Kamaruddin, Sim Sze Tsin and Amanah’s Mohamad Sabu.

Amanah’s Khalid joins list of Sarawak’s ‘undesirables’

20 Apr 2016

Amanah communications director Khalid Samad is the latest opposition leader to be banned from Sarawak in the run-up to the state election.

He was deported upon arrival at the Kuching International Airport last night at 7.55pm.

Khalid joins the list of victims of Sarawak’s autonomous immigration powers, which opposition leaders allege is being abused to keep them out of the election campaign.

So far, more than 40 opposition lawmakers, activists and academicians have been banned, including PKR vice-president Nurul Izzah Anwar, PKR secretary-general Rafizi Ramli, DAP lawmakers Tony Pua and Anthony Loke as well as Amanah president Mohamad Sabu.

Opposition lawmakers have contended that travellers engaged in legitimate political activities are allowed entry under Sections 66 and 67 of the Immigration Act and they are considering taking legal action against the state.

The Sarawak Immigration Department has thus far declined to reveal the full list of those barred from entering the state.~ Malaysiakini

I’m have been banned from Sarawak. Before it, Teresa Kok was banned. Then yesterday, my colleague Teo Nie Ching (张念群) got deported from Bintulu.

And now even our HQ designer, Ooi Leng Hang was kicked out of Kuching. I’m now convinced that dozens more will be on the ban list.

Even during the worst of Taib’s reign, there wasn’t such blatant abuse of power.

Now, anyone still thinks Adenan is an angel? Please think again. He’s really a wolf in sheep’s clothing. Nothing more, nothing less.

Even our designer is banned. Adenan is not a reformist. Even he win the coming election, he’ll go down the history as the Sarawak CM that won election by banning the entry of opposition leaders. We’ll eventually win one day and history will judge those who abuse their power to hold on to power. The day will come. ‪#‎ubah‬
