Hello friends,

I hope the weekend has been good to you. It is a snowy day here in the suburbs of NYC. We got about a foot of snow here, and currently as I write this, it has begun snowing again. Schools are closed today…so my little ones are home with me. Not that I would have sent them, because our sidewalks and streets are blanketed with snow and it is impossible to go anywhere.

Anyway, I thought I would do something different today.  I have been talking about the various creative projects that I am currently working on, and the ones I hope to start up at some point this year. One of my goals, which is in the grassroots stages, has to do with Autism and non-profit. I am very excited about the possibilities of this venture…and while it may take awhile to get it fully up and running, I can’t wait to start seeing my ideas come to life.

Part of the reason I wanted to start this particular project, is obviously the fact that my daughter is on the Autism Spectrum and I hope to raise more awareness about Autism and Autism-related disorders. Another reason, is that there are people in my every day life, that were not afraid of risk…and went with their heart and passion, and have turned their passions into a successful business. I wish today to share part of their stories and information about their businesses, with you.  This is my first installment…there are 7 people and businesses that will be featured today.  I hope to post more businesses in future posts. The information you see listed below was taken from their pages, and I was given permission to post both information and pictures.  So, let’s get started.
