PAYMENT POLICY
Lee Funeral Home and Cremation Service has established a uniform payment policy that is fair to all families and that also prevents any misunderstanding. This policy enables us to contain our costs to all families we serve. Lee Funeral Home & Cremation Service’s policy requires that all fees be paid for 48 hours prior to service, viewing times or cremation. Payment for our merchandise is due before ordering or use of merchandise.
THE FOLLOWING ARE ACCEPTABLE PAYMENT OPTIONS:
Cash or Personal Check. Sorry, but third party checks are not acceptable. You must be a signer on the account that the check is being written on.
VISA, MasterCard, Discover, American Express. Please be aware that the State of Nevada does allow a 3% card fee.
Insurance assignment. This option is available once the insurance company has verified the assignment ability and the beneficiary of the policy. Policies that are under two years of age are often contestable and may not be acceptable. When acceptable insurance has been verified, all beneficiaries must sign the assignment provided by Lee Funeral Home in front of a notary. Lee Funeral Home has a notary available at no charge for this purpose. A 10% or $100 minimum fee of the total funeral home charges will be assessed and added to the statement. The original policy must be provided to Lee Funeral Home and beneficiary must sign within 24 hours of verification.
Lee Funeral Home and Cremation Service DOES NOT accept future payment from “Estate Funds”.
IDENTIFICATION VIEWING POLICY
ID viewings are solely for those decedents whose identification is in question. If the deceased has been identified by an official agency to Lee Funeral Home’s satisfaction and the family wishes a viewing, the family will be charged a normal viewing fee for whichever package they choose. If an ID viewing will not take place within 72 hours of the death, LFH will require that the decedent be embalmed and the fee for such will rest solely with the family.
Family Viewing Policy
Family viewings are limited to 10 or less people in the immediate (spouse, sibling, child) family per LFH policy; or embalming will be required. All family members who wish to view must sign a waiver prior to viewing. If anyone outside of the immediate family wishes to view the deceased, embalming will be required. It will be at the discretion of LFH as to what point after death embalming will be required for viewing.

These prices are effective as of December 1, 2019. The goods and services shown below are those that we can provide to our customers. You may choose only those items you desire. However, any funeral arrangements you select will include a charge for our basic services and overhead, this fee cannot be declined. If legal or other requirements mean you must buy any items you did not specifically ask for, we will explain the reason in writing on the statement we provide describing the funeral goods and services selected.

Burial Packages
If you elect not to select a package you will be charged individual pricing. This includes substitutions of any kind. Packages may not be changed.
Our charges do not include cemetery fees of any kind. **If burial takes place at a cemetery that requires a lowering device there will be an additional $300 equipment fee.
Cremation Packages
If you elect not to select a package you will be charged individual pricing. This includes substitutions of any kind. Packages may not be changed.
Packages do not include death certificates or urn.
