Another large turnout of 56 riders for the third race of the series, with 15 signing on for the first time. Ryan Savage continued his recent form for winning primes, taking both during the race. The finish came down to a bunch sprint with Dave Lindsay (Gateway CC) taking the win by a bike length from Brendan Stanley (Hornchurch CC), with Robert Michell (Gateway CC) just behind in 3rd.
After 3 rounds, Gateway CC occupy the top 3 positions in the senior rankings with Rob Michell in top position; and in the vets Colin McPherson has a 19 point lead after three top 5 finishes.
