Oh December, you fly by in a flash! Now, here I am on January 5th wondering where the month went and in awe of all that we packed into it. Also, somewhere in the midst of December birthdays, anniversaries, parties and celebrations, I think Santa misheard me and must have thought I said “All I want for Christmas is the flu” because that’s what showed up just a few days before our trip back to Nebraska for Christmas. Needless to say this will be a Christmas I will never forget, and one I will not repeat (I’m vowing to get a flu shot every year now!).
So, although December has come and gone I wanted to share with you the last POPSUGAR Must Have Box for 2016. I have enjoyed sharing these boxes with you over the past year and I must say I’ve grown to love them more and more each time they arrive. They really are a perfect “gift to yourself” if you will because I never knew what would show up at my doorstep for the month, but it has always been a variety of products and items I have enjoyed. A special thank you to POPSUGAR for sending the POPSUGAR Must Have Box December 2016 my way! Let’s take a look at what was in the grand finale to 2016!
Trays are my jam!
I’ll start with a few of my favorites from the box, and first up is this porcelain dish set from Odeme that includes the Catchall and Ring Dish. These simple white trays are perfect for organizing things like earrings, necklaces, etc. and look simply sweet on my nightstand, vanity or even at the entry to catch the keys. Secondly, a girl has just got to have a few sparkly things for her hair and around her neck for all of winter, so I’m loving these Date Night Bobby Pins from Mane Message and Snowfall Pendant from Baublebar. Last but not least the perfect winter berry red is a necessity from now through February, so I’m excited to try this Lip Pill in Bunny from Winky Lux.

I’m actually glad I saved this box for January so I could have fun baking up a fresh batch of cookies to nom on while I plan out 2017! Sisters’ Gourmet has a variety of cookie jar classics like this Baker’s Dozen Classic Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix that is already making my mouth water just looking at it. I haven’t gifted a jar of cookies in quite some time, but I’m thinking this cute jar is would be ultra gift-able if you need some Valentine’s Day gifts for teachers coming up – I’d better write that down in my shiny new planner!
Hair serums are always on my list of things to try, especially since I color-treat mine and I’m always looking for ways to restore it – what can I say, I just can’t say no to the blonde! This Color Restore Color Protecting Top Coat Serum from Dessange Professional Hair Luxury says it will smooth and give long-lasting shine – something that my hair definitely lacks. I’m excited to give it a whirl and see how it goes, plus I love that this brand can be easily found at Target!
