**Job Description**

U.S. Bank is seeking the position of Development Group Manager in Minneapolis, MN.

**Essential Responsibilities:**

The Development Group Manager is responsible for application systems analysis and programming activities for a group.

+ Conducts feasibility studies, time and cost estimates and the establishment and implementation of new or re‐vised applications and programs.

+ Assists in projecting software and hardware requirements.

+ Assigns personnel to various projects and directs their activities; reviews and evaluates their work and prepares performance reports.

+ Confers with and advises subordinates on administrative policies and procedures, technical problems, priorities and methods.

+ Consults with personnel in other Technology areas to coordinate activities.

+ Prepares activity and progress reports regarding the activities of the development group.

+ Functions as a senior member of a team that drives analysis and elaboration, designs, and development of Salesforce.com applications, and test and build automation tools.

+ Own all technical aspects of software development for assigned applications.

+ Perform hands-on architecture, design and development of systems.

+ Perform hands-on software development and testing, writing code, conducting code reviews and testing in ongoing sprints or doing proof of concepts/automation tools.

+ Drive consistent development practices - tools and common components.

+ Develop deep understanding of tie-ins with other systems and platforms within the supported domains.

+ Work with technical product managers contributing to blueprints and assisting with annual planning of features sets that impact multiple platforms.

+ Perform work using the following tools and technologies: Salesforce.com Configuration, Visual Force, APEX classes, Triggers, Force.com IDE, ExtJS, Cmd line DataLoader, informatica cloud.

+ Domestic travel required up to 10% of the time.

+ Company HQ at 800 Nicollet Mall, Minneapolis, MN 55402; telecommuting is available from any location in the U.S.

**Basic Qualifications:**

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a Computer, Technology or Engineering field and 5 years of related (progressive, post-baccalaureate) experience.

**Required Skills/Experience:**

Must also have 5 years (60 months) of experience (which may have been gained concurrently) with each of the following: 1) Working in the banking, finance or credit industry applying analytical, project management and tactical planning skills and knowledge. 2) Serving as member of a team that drives analysis and elaboration, designs, and development of Salesforce.com applications, and testing and building automation tools. 3) Owning all technical aspects of software development for assigned applications and performing hands-on architecture, design and development of systems. 4) Driving consistent development practices - tools and common components. 5) Performing work using the following tools and technologies: Salesforce.com Configuration, Visual Force, APEX classes, Triggers, Force.com IDE, ExtJS, Cmd line DataLoader, informatica cloud. All experience may have been gained concurrently. Domestic travel required up to 10% of the time. Base pay range may vary if an offer is made for work in a different location. Pay Range: $184,870 - $ 190,400.00.
