**Job Description**
U.S. Bank is seeking the position of Network Engineer in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
**Essential Responsibilities:**
The Network Engineer will utilize multi-network technologies and technical leadership to contribute towards the success of our technology initiatives. Responsibilities include: creation of complex engineering solutions for new or enhanced technology and the integration of solutions and services; designs and models services for inter-networking and client converged networks; work on a cross-functional team targeted for system enhancements for system performance, reliability, scalability, and capacity; evaluates product and service solutions; oversees and develops multi-platform converged enterprise engineering solutions targeted to meet existing, enhanced, and new network service platform solutions for business and infrastructure services; leads advanced knowledge sharing and recommendations for converged network: voice, data, security, data transmission systems, equipment capabilities, products, services, features and configurations; develops new solutions and integrated service offerings to meet large-scale or enterprise projects or service requirements; provides technical leadership, representing network organization in cross-functional/project teams; lead cross-functional technical team driving efforts for performance improvement, expansion, and procedures across multiple/converged services and platforms; leads delivery and development of multiple and converged systems documentation, procedures, and processes; coordinates the maintenance and modification of systems; leads or provides guidance for advanced technical support for multiple and converged systems and services; and administers, develops, and performs capacity and resource planning to optimize new and expand existing network system. **Basic Qualifications:**
Requires a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field plus 2 years of related experience. Will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field plus 5 years of related experience in lieu of a Master’s degree plus 2 years of experience.
**Required Skills/Experience:**
Must possess 2 years of experience with Master’s or 5 years of experience with Bachelor’s with: managing the day-to-day delivery of network services and architecture; network planning, design, implementation, configuration, and troubleshooting; data networks; hardware and system software infrastructure; IT standards and procedures; disaster recovery; Wide Area Networks (WAN) and WAN technologies (MPLS, Frame Relay, PPP, and HDLC); internet security; and IPSEC. Telecommuting available anywhere in the U.S. Company headquarters located at 800 Nicollet Mall, Minneapolis, MN 55402. Base pay range may vary if an offer is made for work in a different location. Pay Range: $112,653.00 - $171,000.
