But we know better. All they care about is corruption, who can line their pockets with more money and who can thump their chests the loudest.

If this is not the epitome of arrogance, then I don’t know what is, and then, they have the guts to reveal their hot tempers when they are challenged.

Well, here is a list of 9 most notable Kenyan politicians who need to be chucked out with yesterday’s left overs for all their power hungry activities at the expense of citizens:

Evans Kidero has been implicated in a number of high profile corruption cases including the fall of Mumias Sugar Company and bribing a judge with KSh 200 million to award him an election petition win.

Most people believe he is guilty of the two including mismanaging Nairobi county is the reason why there is a motion being discussed to impeach him.

He arrogantly refuses to allow the county assembly to debate the motion or summon him.

His hot temper was noted when he slapped Nairobi woman rep Rachel Shebesh in full view of cameras for the entire country to see.

He refused to apologise for that and instead made excuses for what “might” have happened.

The Nandi Hills MP was recorded on video threatening police officers at the Gilgil weighbridge with harsh consequences for detaining a truck of his counterpart, Sunjeev Kaur Birdi.

He even invoked the name of President Uhuru Kenyatta in order to scare them.

He also bragged about having 10 MPs rooting for him as well as State House to do his bidding.

As if that was not enough, it was alleged that last week he escaped after threatening a foreign woman with a gun after he allegedly slapped her following a heated argument at a high end estate in Kilimani.

His arrogance and temper come across as subtle but if you read between the lines, you can notice he has these in spades.

He has claimed innocence in a number of scandals he has been implicated in as well as challenged journalists to show him their evidence.

Top on the list is his Weston Hotel drama and the murder of controversial businessman Jacob Juma.

Anytime he has spoken to defend himself in these two cases, his arrogance and temper have hit the roof and only a few people notice.

Some people believe Duale has no mouth filter and will say anything that comes to mind. No matter how arrogant it may sound.

We are already used to him so it comes as no surprise when he says something in the heat of the moment because he will just shrug it off or another Jubilee politician will come in and neutralize something controversial he said.

At one time, the opposition was so annoyed by his pride especially when he began making comments to the media about CORD issues he had no say in.

The Mwingi Central MP went on record claiming that he is the main reason for Wiper Party’s continued existence and not CORD co-principal Kalonzo Musyoka.

Three days ago on Monday, October 10, he was quoted as saying he owns the party.

“I own the party as I pay for the office rent including the seat Musyoka sits on. I have receipts,” said Mutambu.

He was among politicians from Ukambani who gave Musyoka a 30-day ultimatum to reveal the political direction of the region.

The aspiring Nairobi gubernatorial aspirant is an angry man.

His TV interviews are never peaceful, he is argumentative, righteous and he has a temper with no reins at all.

He hits below the belt when discrediting his opponents and does not shy away from revealing harsh truths as he did in his book; Peeling Back The Mask.

You do have to give it to him, though, that his ideas for a better Nairobi are great.
