Barely 100 kms from Amravati it is the closest to Mumbai- 750 kms only. 8. Yelagiri, Tamil Nadu -

This too is not a place with gripping adventure like Tawang or Leh, but it is a place with great natural beauty. This place is not as popular as many other hill stations of South India such as Ooty.

This is reason enough for you to visit it till it is away from the crowd’s eye. The exotic beauty which looks marvellous from one of the few watch points, the Punganoor Lake and the park for walking are all very beautiful.

9. Shimoga, Karnataka -

This is one of the best hill stations in the Western Ghat region but is still not very popular.
