Excitement is building in Gilbert as our latest Maracay Homes community, The Preserve at Adora Trails, begins to take shape. Streets, sidewalks and curbs have all been completed and provide the framework within which future neighborhoods will come to life. Our two model homes are almost ready to welcome guests and we’re gearing up to host a Neighborhood Gathering celebration later this month.

You see, we have much to celebrate at The Preserve at Adora Trails. Not only is Maracay Homes entering one of the top-selling master-planned communities in Arizona, we’re also giving buyers choices for a greener future. Once completed, the homes at The Preserve at Adora Trails will be registered with the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) with the goal of earning the LEED Certified designation. Maracay Homes is proud to be the only large-scale homebuilder in metro Phoenix building homes to achieve certification in LEED, a third-party rating system that verifies compliance to sustainable building practices and other environmentally friendly measures.

LEED certification adds another layer of energy efficiency to the measures Maracay Homes already employs, including building homes to Energy Star specifications and incorporating proprietary LivingSmart technology to reduce energy consumption and utility bills. Homes at The Preserve at Adora Trails will be built to consume 30 to 60 percent less energy than a typical home, and will meet the EPA’s Indoor airPLUS quality specifications. They also will feature water-efficient fixtures, LED lighting, Energy Star appliances, Wi-Fi enabled, programmable thermostats and more.

In addition to being easy on the wallet, the 82 homes at The Preserve at Adora Trails offer all single-story floor plans, fresh architecture and designs that have been value-engineered to reduce energy usage and to produce measurable human health and environmental benefits.

To top it all off, the The Preserve at Adora Trails is located in one of Arizona’s most popular master-planned communities. Residents here enjoy a 10-acre park, catch-and-release lake, miles of walking trails, resort-style pool and splash park, full-sized fitness center, onsite elementary school, and numerous sports courts and recreation fields. Its convenient location near the southeast corner of Riggs Road and Val Vista Drive puts it close to San Tan Village shopping center, the San Tan Mountains and Chandler Unified School District’s schools.
