Equality Michigan (EQMI) is hosting the state's political mixer of the season. This annual event includes an awards reception, plenty of cocktails, and a fun night of networking with the movers and shakers of Michigan's political scene on October 1st at the DTE Energy Building. Award recipients will be announced in the coming weeks as will a special keynote speaker. This chic fundraising event for LGBTQ equality crucially supports the essential work of EQMI, which helps ensure greater legal protections for LGBTQ Michiganders and support for LGBTQ victims of discrimination, harassment, and violence.
