Over the recent months, I’ve analysed over hundreds of serps, yes hundreds! I wanted to replicate other seo companies on how they were ranking for competitive keywords and I concluded that they used orthodox methods i.e using a PBN, high quality domains etc. which seemed to be the best bet in the long run.
But I noticed one website that was using a trick that got to #1 only using a handful of mediocre PBN links. I looked deeper in this and noticed a 301 redirect. But this was not any other 301 redirect it was a 301 redirect from a URL shortener and BINGO I understood what they were doing.
Link/URL Shorteners
The URL shortener was transferring the authority of it’s domain to the money site. It didn’t stop there also. I further looked into this and wanted to see if the URL shortener had any backlinks and to my amazement I saw even more link shorteners pointing at the “authoritve link shortener” I went further into this and saw that the link shorteners had even more backlinks. Literally 100% anchor text scrape box blast to the multiple link shorteners.
In essence all the juice was transferring by 301 redirects eventually reaching the highest link shortener and finally transferring it’s “authority” as well as the link juice below it. Somehow the redirects filtered the spam below all the URL shorteners. This was my theory and I stuck to it stubbornly.
I tried out the method and surprisingly my money site that was created on a new domain reached top 20 within 2 weeks. It was fluctuating from 18-30. This keyword was competitive and going to the 20th mark within 2 weeks was a great satisfaction. After that I was getting frustrated why the keyword was not moving and was thinking did it reach to its plateau? Did I have to invest crazy amounts like seo companies to get to the top ten? So how did my keyword get to #3 eventually?
Easy I added more Links from my high authority PBN and it slowly climbed to the top ten after a further 2 weeks. All in all it got to #5 in 5 weeks total. Currently as I am writing this it is fluctuating from 5-9.
The Exact Method:
Here is the part I bet you’s are waiting for. What you need to do is purchase a new domain, preferably a .com domain. The domain should be either an EMD (highly unlikely nowadays) or a PMD. So if you are trying to rank for “blue widgets” make sure the domain is something like this: “bluewidgetsindex.com”.
On Site Optimization
Now get your on page optimization correct. This is vital and should be the first thing you do before you add any links to your money site what so ever. I highly discourage you doing this to any of your previous money sites, long term sites and most definitely not any of your client’s sites. Make sure it has an article on it (500 words article minimum) and at least 5 pages of content. Also add pictures with the partial match alt text and a YouTube video. The latter steps could be excessive but it worked for me.
Now wait for the website to be indexed. It usually takes 3-4 days to index a website.
Adding PBN Links.
You want add a handful of authority links. Do not use blog comments now, add links from a PBN. I would say roughly from 10-15 domains. If you do not have a PBN, create one. It’s fairly easy but time consuming finding high authority domains. If you cannot do this step. Then purchase PBN links from somewhere, either from blackhatworld or a seo company. Do not go overboard with this step, you want a bit of juice flowing in steadily. Make sure the anchor text is extremely diverse otherwise the sandbox awaits before you even started. Now wait and see your rankings. It should be ranking at least top 100 for your desired main keyword.
Once it has ranked in the top 100, the 301 redirects come in from the link shorteners. You want to get a URL shortener that has high PA and high DA.
I used snipr.com it has 70 DA and 67 PA which is sufficient. Now create a URL by adding your money site to snipr.com. Once you have done this you should end up with a link like this: snipr.com/xxxx. Keep this link. This is essentially your “authority 301 redirect”.
After this, you need to create more “url shortener 301 redirects” but this time redirecting to “snipr.com/xxx” Don’t forget this step as it is crucial. Not all url shorteners are 301 redirects some are 302. But I’ve used them as well. I have compiled a list of more than 198 URL shorteners in a notepad and damn that was long, this is included in my website at the bottom of the post.
Now you could only use some of the URL shorteners that I’ve compiled but I used majority of them, above 100. This will take a lot of time but could be well worth it at the end. You could use a website like this http://www.mass-url-shortener.com. But the website fails to create half of the urls, plus once it creates it and you use a live link checker it returns errors. So roughly 20-25% of those are actually created from that website.
Once you have your mass URL shorteners pointing to the “authority URL shortener” (snipr.com/xxxxx). It’s time to create further backlinks. Yes this method is the easiest. Just hop on to fiverr.com and look for dofollow blog comments, order as many as you can. The more the merrier. Go for 100% anchor text for those links. You want those scrapebox blasts pointing at the mass URL shorteners, which essentially 301 redirects to snipr.com and then 301 redirects to your money site. A lot of tier link building but in the form of 301 redirects with free domains (url shorteners).
Once those steps are completed, you should see your website climbing the ranks like there’s no tomorrow, if it has not reached at least top 50 after a week or so. Add more links, if it still hasn’t then I am afraid you either went wrong somewhere or the Google slap came asap.
Once it has reached the top 50, start adding even more PBN/authority links to the money site. Anchor text should be diverse. All the backlinks from the PBN/authority backlinks should have a diverse anchor text. You don’t want to risk your private blog network and at the same time your hard work going into the bin for receiving a penalty due to having over optimized anchor text.
Eventually it should reach the top 10 or top 20 after a few more weeks. After you are receiving fair amount of traffic you should be banking before your site gets slapped. Take advantage of the loophole before it closes or you get slapped of the serps.
Currently my site is sitting at 9 (went down, heavy fluctuation) as I am speaking, but I am pretty sure it is going to receive the slap in a month or so. So I am getting a lot of leads at the moment by using the contact form. I am planning to sell the leads to a company after the website gets slapped.
Summary:
Creating an authority 301 redirect, snipr.com linking to money site.
Add PBN links to money site.
Create more 301/302 redirects to authority 301 redirect.
Scrapebox blast 301/302 redirects.
Add more PBN links to money site.
Climb ranks
Any questions please feel free to ask. And one more thing, if this method has been posted before do let me know. I have saw other methods but they are mainly based on the 301 redirects essentially.
A word of warning, do not attempt this to rank your seo clients or any of your authority websites. If they get sandboxed don’t come and blame me. This is a method to make you bank enough and move on to your next project.
Have fun!
