AP Exams – Thank you for supporting your student as they studied and prepared for AP exams. Most of the exams are done and now students wait patiently for the scores to be published. They will receive an email from CollegeBoard when their score is available sometime in July.
End of the Year – The last day of school is approaching very soon. This is a time when many students struggle to stay engaged. The most common things seen by teachers are late and/or incomplete homework. Teachers work hard to make sure students stay engaged and give their best effort until the end.
Please encourage your student to finish their homework and get it turned in. Another way to help is to encourage your student to get plenty of rest. I like to think of the three S’s, Sleep, Study, and Social life. Students need our input as they try to balance the three S’s. Most of our students think they can have all three but at most they only have time for two. Lets help them make wise choices with the three S’s.

Students are encouraged to complete the checkout process (the top half of the form) with all of their teachers as they take final exams. Students must wait until Thursday afternoon’s checkout fair to complete the bottom half of their form.
Helpful hints for Checking Out –
To help make secondary checkout a smooth process, please be sure to turn in all school textbooks, calculators, and other materials on the day of your final exam so that teachers can assess any charges for lost or damaged items.
Check Powerschool for your lunch card balance (the balance needs to be zero or positive before checking out) and for any other outstanding financial obligations. Plan to pay for any outstanding financial obligations on or before Thursday, June 4th so that it doesn’t come down to the last day.
Attend check-out fair on Thursday, June 4 from 1:15 to 2:30PM to finish the bottom half of the check-out form and complete the check-out process. Middle school students at this time may check out with the following departments: Athletics, Computer, Finance and Library. All completed check out forms should be handed into the Admissions Office Table at the Fair!
