TIS Model United Nation’s Conference

From October 20th to 22nd (Thursday to Saturday), TIS is hosting over 300 students for the fourth annual TIANMUN (Tianjin Model United Nations) Conference. At the opening ceremony on Thursday evening, there was a special guest speaker whose mission and experience was inspirational to all the participants: Sam Waldo, co-founder and CEO of Mantra.

This year’s theme—Cherishing Life—sheds light on the various topics from Syrian refugee crisis, protection of freedom of speech, to economic problems followed by the endangered banana plants, which are all playing a role in human life. The Executive team of TIANMUN 2016 are more than happy to invite all parents and teachers to visit conference rooms, and encourage our delegates to speak up and to play larger roles in TIANMUN.
