General Announcements

From the Head Principal's Desk

Friday, 11/28, Thanksgiving Holiday (no school)

From the Admissions Office

Living in an international community we understand that some families may be ending their contracts and returning to their home countries at the end of this quarter.  To help make the transition as smooth as possible, we ask that you give us at least 2 weeks notice so that we can prepare documents needed for the next school.  We also want to help prepare each student to exit well from their class and the school.  Having advance notice provides teachers time and understanding as they help students say goodbye.   Good closure is important and helps with adjustment to the new location.

Please contact our Admissions Office for the necessary forms and information to ensure there are no delays in preparation and release of student records.  Please note, we require 10 school days to prepare documentation.  Contact Admissions for more information.

Grade Level Booths for Christmas Bazaar

As you know, every year members of the PAC and moms from each grade have participated in the Christmas bazaar by selling food and other goods. Since the PTO has not yet started, some "room mothers" have decided to organize each grade's booth. This year, we would like to join as a larger cooperative group by grade level, if possible, to prepare and run each booth with all of the moms in our grade. We want this to be a fun project where we can all come together and work for a good cause, and have a chance to get to know one another. Moreover, on the day of the bazaar, kids may also help their moms run the booth.

ECC - balloon art/animals

Grade 1 - dart game and "pick a ball" game

Grade 2 - donuts

Grade 3 - stationery

Grade 4 - cookies

Grade 5 - Dduk-Ko-Chi (similar to DdukBokKi)

Grade 6 - coin tossing game

Grade 7 - baby Kimbob and fish ball soup

Grade 8 - hard-boiled eggs

Grade 9 - Santa’s post office

Grade 10 - used books

Grade 11 - triangle Kimbob and handmade quilts

We have recently sent you an email, please check your in-boxes and reply if you are interesting in helping. We look forward to many moms participation and catching up with old and new friends!
