TITLE: Nursing Specialist
REPORTS TO: VP of Sales/General Manager, West
TigerText is seeking an experienced and passionate Nursing Specialist to join our team as a clinical voice and advocate in our effort to optimize hospital workflow and transform healthcare communications. A strong Nursing Specialist will bring critical customer interface and support based on intimate knowledge of healthcare organization operations and challenges.
As a champion of the product and an expert with clinical informatics, the Nursing Specialist will serve as a trusted advisor to potential and current clients in their use of the TigerText healthcare workflow solution. Partnering with departments including Engineering, Sales, and Implementation, the Nursing Specialist will be tasked with assessing his/her customers’ challenges, goals, and operations and developing personalized adoption recommendations to successfully close and onboard industry thought-leading providers.
Essential Functions include:
Developing relationships with multidisciplinary teams of health professionals including Physicians, Nursing Staff, Administrators, and Information Technology professionals to diagnose communication challenges, identify root causes, and drive change management initiatives
Leveraging comprehensive understanding of the TigerText core product and platform in order to provide relevant adoption and technical recommendations on solutions and enhancements customized to customer's’ business needs
Assessing the needs and use cases of potential clients and key stakeholders to closely align TigerText sales activities with each customer’s business case and business needs, ensuring that the full potential of the TigerText solution is realized
Serving as the Voice of the Customer within TigerText and champion product and service innovation ideas
Qualifications include:
Current Nursing License required *
6+ years of hospital nursing experience
3+ years of clinical leadership, management, project management, or operational planning
BSN or Bachelor's Degree in related field (such as health care informatics, business, health services administration) required
Specific subject matter expertise in clinical informatics, health care operations, care delivery and clinical processes
Experience in clinical process improvement, development of system requirements, and providing consultative services
Knowledge of HIPAA compliance, Nurse Practice Act, TJC, and other local, state, and federal regulations
Ability to effectively negotiate and facilitate complex and operational issues with senior management
