With apologies to Robert Burns, we have to edit his poem slightly and say that the best-laid plans of mice, men, and Siberian Huskies go oft awry.
Our beach weekend has not exactly helped us escape the rain. Watching the weather forecast, Hu-Dad picked a moment Sunday morning to take us on our long morning walk. Unfortunately, just as we reached a far point from the S-RV, Mother Nature decided the lull in weather needed to stop so she unleashed torrential rains.
