St. Patrick’s Day is just a week from this coming Saturday, so I thought it would be fun to post instructions on how to build a LEGO four leaf clover!

If you want some inspiration before you get right to building a four leaf clover, take a look at these two great builds:

As you can see, they seem fairly easy to recreate. And the second is actually a video build, for those of you who are visual learners.

If you’re more interested in mosaics, here is an easy to follow visual you can use to build a LEGO Four Leaf Clover. This one was built on a 32×32 blue base plate, but you could do the same with 4 16×16 base plates, which I know can be easier to find.

And finally, here are the instructions I promised you for a LEGO Four Leaf Clover! This was the monthly mini build for March 2010. (My life was in another place at that time, so I wasn’t even thinking about LEGO at all…) Fortunately, I was able to locate these instructions on the #Cincinnati LEGO KidsFest Plus Build a Shamrock Lego post by The Review Wire. The mentioned they found the instructions on line someplace, too, but don’t credit the source. (So if you’re the source, just let me know! I’ll link to your page!)

If you need a parts list for the LEGO Four Leaf Clover, here it is as well:

However, if building a shamrock is not your thing, (and how can it not be… everyone wants to be lucky!) you can also check out a few of my other St. Patrick’s Day posts from previous years:

Every leprechaun has a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, right?

Or you can just trap your leprechaun to get his gold!

Are you building a LEGO Four Leaf Clover this weekend? Or are you going to try to build all 3?
