To celebrate the United Nations International Chinese Language Day in 2024, on the morning of April 18th local time, the Confucius Institute at the University of Johannesburg (UJCI) organized local students to learn oracle bone script through fun activities such as guessing games and calligraphy experiences. Through oracle bone script, they gained an understanding of Chinese history and culture and appreciated the beauty of Chinese characters.
