PUBLIC NOTICE CITY OF ENCINITAS AVAILABILITY OF REQUESTS FOR FUNDING PROPOSALS FY2015-16 The City of Encinitas is soliciting proposals for projects, activities and programs under the federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) for the Fiscal Year (FY) 2015-16 (July 1, 2015 – June 30, 2016). The CDBG program is funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Applications are available on December 26, 2014 at City Hall, 505 South Vulcan Avenue, Encinitas, CA 92024 or online at the City’s website: www.Encinitasca.gov. The City Council has approved a five-year Consolidated Plan (FY2010-15), which contains the goals and objectives for affordable housing and community development activities over the five-year period. Proposals will be evaluated subject to the identified goals and objectives. The FY2010-15 Consolidated Plan is available for review at City Hall or on the City’s website, to view click on “Departments”, “Housing Resources”, “Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program”. Completed applications must be submitted to the Planning & Building Department by 5:00 p.m. on February 9, 2015.
