Below are Picture Settings for the 2018 LG OLED Series TVs

For the best overall picture quality, it is recommended to turn the Energy Saving option Off.

Under the Picture Settings Menu, Select the OLED Panel Settings.

Pixel Refresher – This option is not very noticeable, so leaving it On is recommended.

Logo Luminance Adjustment – This option is suitable for sports or news viewing to reduce the brightness of lower/upper-third graphics that remain static for extended periods.

OLED Light – The average setting is 50. This setting adjusts the overall lighting of the display.  For a bright room, set it to the maximum.  For a darker room, set it to a lower value.

Contrast – A setting of 85 is a safe value.  This setting adjusts the brightness range of the image.  A low value results in a dim image.

Brightness – Adjusts the black level. 50 is almost always the best value.

Sharpness – Higher values result in ringing around the edges.  For higher quality content, Sharpness should be set to a value of 0 to get the most accurate image.

Color – This affects the saturation of colors.  The default value of 50 is best.

Tint – This rotates the color palette.  For most accurate balance, keep this setting at 0.

Expert Control Menu

Dynamic Contrast – This tends to lower the Gamma Curve, resulting in an increase in detail and a brighter image on low settings and a darker image for high settings.  However, these are less accurate than adjusting OLED light and Gamma settings.

Color Gamut – Auto – This results in more vivid colors.

Gamma – Most content is set to 2.2

White Balance – Warm 2 is what most content is set at, or 65k.

Though other options are available, default values for the remaining settings are recommended.
