My bill is paid and my cycle renewed yesterday. I have binge-on from my old Simple Choice plan, which I confirmed is still turned on. T-Mobile let me know they’d be upgrading me to unlimited data in November 2018, so I confirmed with customer support that I would still be able to use my mobile hotspot with binge-on and not be throttled after 6GB of usage.
I watched Hulu last night for an hour and I received a text that I have gone over my hotspot data! And now it’s being throttled! I haven’t changed any settings on any apps, I haven’t changed my account at all. And I’ve been able to watch TV off my phone for 3 months until now!
what is going on? I’m absolutely furious. I have problem after problem with T-Mobile. Two months ago the power was out here and my cell tower was down for 19 days! Customer support said they would credit my bill, but no. No credit. And now this. I’m about to leave T-Mobile. Probably this month if this doesn’t get resolved.
