IT Services is improving wireless authentication services through eduroam and CSUSB_ACCESS.
Beginning Monday, July 28, 2014, users connecting to eduroam will need to perform a one-time procedure to ensure continue connectivity to the eduroam wireless network.
Users who are connecting to eduroam network will be prompted to accept a new security certificate.
The signed certificate will appear from netauth.csusb.edu.
Please verify the authenticity of the certificate, and select accept when prompted.
Users who do not accept the new certificate will be disconnected from the wireless network and will need to re-configure their devices.
NOTE: If you are disconnected from the wireless network because you did not accept the new certificate, you may follow these instructions to re-configure your device manually or via QuickConnect.
Users who are connecting via the legacy CSUSB_ACCESS network will see an updated login screen.
If you are using CSUSB_ACCESS, a new configuration tool QuickConnect is available to assist in configuring your device for the secure eduroam wireless network.
The legacy login prompt is still available at the bottom of the page.
We recommend users to utilize the QuickConnect tool to switch to eduroam when possible.
Detailed instructions on configuring your device using QuickConnect is available at https://support.csusb.edu/index.php?/Knowledgebase/Article/View/36/.
