Why shop online? This is the question I get asked quite a lot. The thing is, you can get better value out of online shopping. They will email you when there are sales on, most of the time if you join mailing lists you can receive vouchers for up to $20 off. So I love shopping online – plus I don’t have to leave the house – and the parcel comes to me! Stay at Home Mum has scoured the internet – and of course asked you, our reader, for a list of the very best online stores for women’s clothing in Australia and World wide. Here is the list!
Day to Day Clothing:
The Iconic The Iconic has a great range, a little on the pricey side, but good if you are off somewhere special.
City Chic has plus sizes, gorgeous clothing!
Ezibuy has a terrific range of basics – plus I love their homewares.
Jay Jays has loads of stores around Australia – but you get the best deals online!
Atomic Cherry has loads of Rockabilly fashion – just beautiful – I buy most of my clothing there!
Crossroads is a discount women’s clothing shop but they now sell online.
Cotton On Clothing have an online store and if you sign up you get an additional 30% off! Great basic pieces.
Portmans is a great site for work wear and basics. They have really nice pants.
Jacqui E has terrific work wear that is great quality and reasonable priced.
Millers are usually for the more mature lady, but if you hunt around you can find some great basic pieces.
Target also has an online clearance section! I get a tad excited when I see ‘clearance’ on any website!
Rivers have a rather good online section now – so you can get the discount deals right to your door!
Asos are US based but ship great pieces to Australia for very little. They have a great range of maternity dresses too!
Zodee are great for swimwear and underwear, not always the cheapest but their sales are terrific.

Just Jeans has a terrific website – check out their sales items for really great deals!
Esprit AU again – online has the best deals!
Rockabilly and Alternative Clothing:
ModCloth is a US site but ships woldwide. Great little dresses and outfits – and they have terrific review section. Highly recommend!
Stop Staring is very glamorous and has some beautiful cocktail dresses fit for any occasion.
Atomic Cherry has the day to day wear that epitomises the 1950’s.
Pin Up Boutique has both cocktail and day to day wear.
Heartbreaker Fashion has some divine dresses.
For the More Mature Woman:
Birdsnest is one of my personal favourites. Check out their ‘outfit’ section, great when you can’t decide what to wear!
SPORTSCRAFT Australia
Millers carries lots of plus size sizes and styles that suit the more mature woman.
Jacqui E has terrific work wear that is great quality and reasonable priced.
Younger Women’s Options:
Showpony Fashion have a range of club wear and clothing suitable for the younger woman. Very cute and sassy. They also offer free shipping Australia wide.
Birdsnest comes highly recommend by our Facebook followers and lots of day to day wear for all ages.

ModCloth is a US site but ships woldwide. Has lots of short dresses, skinny jeans and alternative fashion.
Beginning Boutique are very similar to Showpony Fashion and offer cute playsuits and club wear.

Blooms Boutique offer day to day wear, beautiful flowing tops and skin jeans.
Dotti is cheap and cheerful with pieces for 16 – 21 year olds.

Torrid are US based (so take postage into account) but have some gorgeous pieces!
Autograph Fashion have an online store for sizes 14 – 26.
Isabella’s Fashion has great range of Plus Size lingerie and sleepware
Millers carries lots of plus size sizes.
Curvaceous is an Australian site that comes highly recommended by our Facebook followers.
Modcloth has a terrific range of plus sizes, particularly in swimwear.
Plus Size Lingerie Boutique so women of all sizes can look great in their smalls!
Maternity and Breastfeeding Attire:
Maternity Wear has pregnancy bra’s, nursing bra’s and maternity plus sizes all at discount prices.
Pumpkin Patch has a sale section on their website to pick up not just kids and babies clothing, but maternity and feeding items for Mums! I wore their maternity pants for work and they are super comfy!
Don’t forget to try the US version of Ebay as quite often they will post to Australia and New Zealand for not much more than it would cost to buy right here!
Soul Mothers isn’t very cheap – however they do have a sale section where you can pick up some bargains!
Try the Pre-Loved Maternity Boutique – pick up good quality second hand maternity items for less than half price! If you spend over $100 your postage is free within Australia.
Bump Baby and Beyond also has a comprehensive clearance section which is worth a look!
Wedding and Bridesmaid Dresses:
Light in the Box has great wedding dresses, bridesmaid dresses, mother of the bride. And they are cheap! They aren’t based in Australia but ship worldwide.
Formal Wear:
City Chic (Speciality Fashion Group)is quite expensive but has some lovely pieces

Running Bare is Australian, and reasonably priced.
Fabletics is a US brand co-owned by Kate Hudson. Some gorgeous pieces that look hot!

There are a few sites that will give you great deals but you must be signed up first. They usually advertise sales daily on different brands and you can pick up some designer clothing for sometimes up to 80% off!
Brands Exclusive
Ozsale has sales from different designers – you can pick up brand name clothing, shoes, sunglasses etc for up to 80% off – but you need to sign up with them first.
Second Hand Clothing:
Of course you can’t go past the biggest and the best! Ebay is fantastic for everything!
Two By One is a vintage and designer outlet – they had a pair of Jimmy Choo shoes when I looked!!!! Oh my!
Myclothingbay is like an Ebay just for clothing – pick up items very very cheap. Not a huge range – but I think that will change!

For ladies underwear and wedding attire – try Fredericks of Hollywood.
AliExpress is a collection of apparel sites from China that have fantastic clothing super cheap! Beware though! Check the feedback on each store to make sure they sell good quality items and again watch your postage costs. Quite often they offer postage for free – but it will take up to a month to arrive.
Light in the Box have beautiful gowns, dresses and wedding attire.
Dorothy Perkins offers beautiful classic pieces for all ages
Shopbob is US based and has some super cute girly pieces.
