DVS draws upon the wider pool of skills, expertise and resources around the VOA, and is one of the largest employers of RICS Chartered Surveyors in the UK. We offer a national service covering all of England, Wales and Scotland. We carry out a wide range of property advice work – from small commissions to large national instructions.
We provide services to public authorities including:
central government departments, executive agencies and arm’s length bodies
local and devolved government bodies
transport and infrastructure service (road, rail and air)
NHS bodies and Trusts
blue light services (such as firefighters and the ambulance service)
education authorities (including academies and free schools)
We’re responsible for:
valuations, including asset work
development viability consultancy and advice
strategic advice, including the preparation and development of an estate strategy
compulsory purchase and compensation
disposal (includes lettings or other commercial arrangements) of freehold and leasehold property
building surveying services, including dilapidations
landlord and tenant reviews, renewals, lease breaks and expired contracts
