I adore this week’s Global Design Project color challenge – Early Espresso, Real Red and Crumb Cake. I love it so much that I was almost crippled by all the project ideas I wanted to execute with these colors. What a great, neutral combination with a lovely pop of red! I decided to pull inspiration from a new bundle in Stampin’ Up!’s 2017 Occasions Catalog. Here’s my 4-1/4″ x 4-1/4″ card:

Sending Love Suite. The Sending Love Suite (Valentine-themed and love-focused) debuts in Stampin’ Up!’s 2017 Occasions Catalog – and you’ll want all of it. Here are descriptions of the items included in this suite, along with a peek at some of the items I used on today’s card:
Stamp Set and Framelits Bundle. The Sealed with Love stamp set gives you everything you need for a super-fun Valentine’s Day. Kissy lips, lots of hearts and floral images and sentiments galore! These images pair perfectly with the Love Notes Framelits Dies that offer tiny envelopes, fun hearts and great borders.

Papers. You’re going to “love” all of the papers in this suite. The suite starts with glassine sheets with tiny white hearts – perfect for accents on a card or bags and envelopes. It’s the Sending Love Designer Series Paper, though, that will 100% make it’s way to your online shopping cart. Bold patterns with Real Red and Whisper White – perfectly fun! This paper is displayed on the backdrop of my card.

Accessories. The accessories in this suite pair perfectly with the theme – tiny paper clips, a back of red ribbon and white ribbon and tiny wooden elements. Such a great way to round out an amazing suite.
Cropping the Sentiment. The sweet “sending love” is stamped with Whisper White Craft Stampin’ Ink and then embossed with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder. I cropped the sentiment with a Project Life Cards & Labels Framelits. So that I could exactly layer it along the side of the heart, I simply ran the cropped piece through the Big Shot with the heart die to cut along the left side of the banner. Exactly what I wanted!
Embossing Tip. If you want your Whisper White Stampin’ Emboss Powder to really shine, set aside the VersaMark (a slow-drying pigment that’s typically used for embossing). Stamp the image with Whisper White Craft Ink and then sprinkle it with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder. Where your embossing powder doesn’t pick up, your ink will be a great backup! <img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/2/72x72/1f642.png" alt="
