Being a person of color in a fandom space is to be in a racist space. Fandoms are inherently unsafe for people of color and especially for people of color who talk about race.
The very least that you as a white person can do is to shut the fuck up and stop taking over people of color. And that includes trying to tell other them how they should feel about colonization and any other themes a work might have.
Yes this is about Star Wars but it’s also about literally any other fandom here.
