The Brisk Campaigner/The Presbyrate Adventuress, 1.5k. Two women on divergent courses in the 'Neath travel together for a while. I never got far enough in Sunless Sea to really know these characters, but I'm mostly into the Fallen London universe for the vibes anyway, and the vibes here are exquisite.

Sidney Crosby/Connor McDavid, 3k. Something's wrong with Sid. Connor's determined to find out. Winner's room fic where the winning/losing dynamic has shifted. I'm not sure I quite buy Sid here, but I'm always interested in a) winner's room scenarios with emotional arcs, and b) Crosby and McDavid stuff. There's a lot of potential there IMO between two celebrated as the best of their respective generations. Fun if you are also interested in those things! There's also a companion fic set a few years ago that's fun.
