- I made a new tumblr, sadieseduskie. No word on the old one that got terminated without notice. RIP 14k meticulously tagged reblogs. Anyway at least I can collect shinies again. Currently queuing up Dune and KStew and Oasis.
- I watched two episodes of The Umbrella Academy, fell head over heels for Five, and didn't connect at all with anyone else. The show is this weird uncomfortable combo of very angsty and fundamentally very silly that generally did not work for me. I'm a huge fan of comedy mixed in with genuine emotion (see: Buffy, Thor Ragnarok, a ton of other things), but this was like the opposite of that. Anyway I don't think it's worthwhile to watch the show just for Five, but I'm sad about it.
- So then I watched the first episode of The Sandman (I guess this is just my weekend for catching up on years-old Netflix shows). It too feels very self-serious, but I enjoyed it more than The Umbrella Academy overall. Don't know if I'll make it through the entire season, but I'm planning to give it at least one more episode. comments
