The word “home” is fascinating. It could suggest where you live or where you “grew up.” It could mean, too, where you are meant to be, either physically or even spiritually. As to your work life, “home” can also be interpreted as what you were always “meant” to do, what you do naturally, enjoy doing, or do really well. As to work life, I believe I have found my “home,” and it is one of my greatest blessings. Sure, I’ve made more “wrong turns” than most, but luckily I’ve always summoned the courage to change directions when needed. Listen to yourself, follow your instincts, and though at times uncertain, you’re certain to find your work life “home,” too.
This quote was forwarded to us by Hunter, of Austin, Texas, a recent “career traveler” who is searching with increasing success for own work life “home.” May the wind be at your back, Hunter.
