SYNOPSIS:

A quick change in our weather today (the calm after the storm), as a large (AR driven) system exited our area on its way East to 4-Corners. With snow levels lowering through the day yesterday, Mammoth Mountain got 24 inches of wet, heavy snow and the Town of Mammoth Lakes 13 inches! Not bad for October.! Dry and more stable conditions today, with rising temperatures…DMATT

DMATTs Weather Fact: From drought conditions to flooding in one storm cycle, The Bay Area got ripped by that huge AR Storm. Staggering (24 hour) rain totals, Sunday into early Monday: Kentfield 11.0 inches; Livermore 3.57 inches; downtown SF 4.02 inches; San Jose 1.79 inches; Oakland 4.27 inches; Ben Lommand 8.93 inches!!!
