College football fans didn’t even have to wait until Saturday to see an upset as No. 5 Louisville fell on Thursday night. The upset came a week after three teams in the top four fell.

This week there are only two top-25 matchups, but that’s how many there were last week and five teams in the top 10 fell.

As for your betting guide, our SEC experts gave their thoughts on this weekend’s SEC games as did a professional handicapper.

Sports Betting terms explained:

Point spread: The point spread is a number put forth by the oddsmakers so that the public will bet evenly on both teams. For a favorite to win, it needs to win by a greater margin than the point spread.

For example, if LSU is a 14-point favorite but only beats Florida by 11. People who bet on Florida would win the bet.

Over/Under: The number of combined points the two teams score in the game. The over/under in the Ole Miss Vanderbilt game is 50.5 and let’s say the two teams combined for just 42 points. Those who bet under would win in that circumstance.
