Genre audio is well represented in the finalists for the 2017 Audie Awards, which will be presented at a gala event in New York in June.

Three of the five nominations in the Best Audio Drama come from the genre:

Winters’ Underground Airlines, and Luke Daniels for Kevin Hearne’s The Purloined Poodle. Scarlet Johansson’s reading of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland has been nominated in the Literary Fiction and Classics category.
