So… (Insert long pause here) I made mistakes, a lot of them. Releasing shit without the right fonts, using old sub files with a bunch of errors in it, corrupt shit, you name it.
If you do this when you are new it’s all fine because you’ll learn but if you’re still doing it a year after you started you just suck. So I suck.
I’ve always said that I will only learn and improve when the community points out my mistakes so that I can fix them and learn from it. But if said community only laughs and talks shit about me behind my back, you can all shove a tree up your anus.
That being said, I wanted to quit, I want to quit because all I do is dedicate my time to this and I get nothing but complaints and shit talk about me in return when all I want to do is doing something back for the community. The only reason i’m still here is because of those people that keep supporting me even when I make mistakes.

For the people that complain that my encodes are never the best, I’m not an encoder, I never said I was an encoder. All I can do is manage my way around it and give you good encodes. So if you’re going to complain that group x video is better than mine, get theirs and shut the fuck up. I find the sub quality to be more important than the video. Ofcourse the video has to be good but untill this point I still have to come across a video quality of mine that really is bad. It might not be the best but it’s good enough and that is what matters for me, everyone has different taste in video quality anyway. Some like to have a bit of grain, others don’t. And if you’re going to complain about 2GB 1080p filesizes, grow up because this isn’t the early 2000’s anymore where everyone had an internet bandwidth limit.
And yes, I do use horriblesubs a lot. Sometimes it’s better to use their basic script and make changes where needed than to use some fansub groups and have to edit their fuck ups. And don’t tell me that fansub is always better because 95% of all fansubs are CR edits. And if 2 or more groups are already doing a show with for example hiryuu subs I will probably use CR if I really want to do the show, because why would you want 3 releases both using the same script? You don’t like CR that’s fine because it’s your choice. But don’t come here spreading your cancer hate.
That being said, the fansub community is cancer. For some reason that is beyond me you need to hate on everything else that isn’t your favorite thing. You can’t just handle the fact that people have different opinions than you so you need to hate on them and everything they like. Why can’t you just accept the fact that people aren’t alike but different. Why do you need to actively hate on something when it isn’t to your liking, can’t you just ignore it and move on?
So am I going to quit? Not yet, but for now you won’t see much releases from me because i’m going to change everything. How our system works, staff, in short i’m gonna do everything that I can to hopefully prevent us from releasing bugged/error filled stuff in the future. One thing that already has happened is that I made danbak a “Co-Owner” of SallySubs. This basicly means that he can manage the site now too and post stuff so you should see some releases being posted under his name and not mine.
Another thing I would like to ask is that when you notice something off in a volume or you’re not sure if something is completely correct, report it using the “Public QC” form. It’s there for a reason yet so many people just post a comment stating what’s wrong. Please use the form, it’s easy to use and quick and this way it won’t get lost in the comments and I can fix it instantly. And for the people who go laugh at my mistakes behind my back but won’t notify me of them, have some humanity and leave a report of what you found. Because how am I supposed to fix it if you won’t let me know that something is wrong?

I’m sorry for the long rant but it was either this or me just quitting right away. And one thing about one punch man, it’s not cancelled but I simply took it down to tweak the encode more and make sure the new scripts are flawless.
For those who are still reading, thank you for your support. I know i’m not as good as hiryuu/FFF but i’m trying here. I’m really trying.
