My first experience with AirBnb was last year in Paris. Just amazing ��Since then we (wife and 7 yr old) have decided to choose to stay in an Airbnb whenever we are visiting a city (above – location of our quaint apt in Amsterdam). For islands/beach towns, resorts make the most sense for us.
Here are my top reasons why I prefer an Airbnb over a hotel:
1. Feel like a local — it’s true. I am not sure about their logo but they have got their branding right! We love setting up our stuff in the apartment, getting groceries, doing laundry etc.
2. No rushing down for breakfast.
3. Sometimes, it’s less expensive than a hotel and more spacious (living room, bedrooms, balconies, etc).
4. Great for kids as they have more space to play around post a day in the city. And when they are asleep, we can hang out in the living room.
