RFP Staff Salisbury Police sources report that Transource Truck and Trailer Center on 1400 W. Jake Alexander Boulevard were victims of a “burglary-forcible entry” and a “motor vehicle theft-truck” sometime Tuesday morning prior to their opening. Burglars forced a widow of the service building to gain entry and stole 2 Samsung TVs (valued at $2,000), a license plate (valued at $20), a bolt cutter (valued at $100), and loaded it into 2002 White Chevvy 2-door truck (valued at $2,000), ripped off the Transource lot, and sped off toward W. Jake Alexander Boulevard with a total haul assessed at $4,120. The crime was reported to 911 Dispatch at 8:18 a.m.
No arrests have been made yet in this case.
